Sydney City Council The Sydney City Council is currently preparing a Motorcycle and Scooter Strategy and Action Plan.
The Strategy is expected to be released for public comment later this year. It will address issues relating to motorcycle and scooter use, including problems with short stay parking, ticket parking, resident parking permits and the securing of scooters and small motorcycles.
The Strategy will also consider the environmental benefits of riding motorcycles and scooters. Issues related to road safety and motorcycle or scooter use will also be addressed as part of the Strategy.
In developing the Strategy the Council would like to here more from motorcycle and scooter riders about riding in a city environment.
