Scooter News Brisbane Show 2007 Brisbane Motorcycle and Scooter Show Report.
Allen Drysdale Scooters featured lightly to say the least in Brisbane with most suppliers opting out of this year’s event.
But let’s not dampen the arrival of both the new Piaggio Mp3 250 and the different yet unique Arqin V3 that were both on display in Brisbane.
Piaggio was gaining heavy praise from punters complementing the three wheeled Mp3 250 for its revolutionary design.
Arqin displayed its full range of scooter product, the Sprint 125 and the Metro 4 50. But most people were amazed with the newly released V3 and wondering just where the music was coming from. The V3 is a fully automatic scooter that features a fully integrated radio and Mp3 player.
Yamaha and Honda showed off a full range of it’s scooters with Yamaha displaying the new T Max 500 Black Max.
The Black Max is a T Max 500 with a special paint scheme and polished rims. Looked very trick indeed!
Eagle Wing had its full range of scooters on display from the Cino to the larger Elegante range.
Hyosung Australia showed off a couple of its Rush and Rally models in varying colours also.
Aprilia used Brisbane to show off its model range from the sporty SR 50 to the elegant yet practical Scarabeo 500.
Sponsor of Scootersales.com.au Arista insurance was on hand providing immediate scooter insurance quoting and policy facilities also.
Something not scooter related yet gob smacking was the BRP/ Can Am Spyder. A three wheeled sports motorcycle with a 1000 cc engine thrown in for good measure.
We will be at both Melbourne and Sydney checking out all the scooter action at the upcoming shows which we suspect may have a few more scooters on the floor.
