Scooter News ADVERTISEMENT Vectrix for Council! Councils talking green!
Vectrix Australia Following the delivery of the first ten vectrix maxis in Australia there has been lots of interest in the all electric urban commuter. Vectrix has been communicating with the Melbourne city council on several occasions regarding an inner city fleet of the bikes.
Councillor Peter Clarke has offered free charging in the underground car park facility at city square for all vectrix users and owners.
Vectrix is also talking with the city of greater Geelong as they have shown interest in a fleet of vectrix bikes for their senior parking inspectors.
Charles Mann vectrix marketing director says "this is great for any commuter or even for those just heading into town for the day, they get an easy park and some free fuel."
Although vectrix Australia is in contact with several councils and government bodies around Australia we are yet to deliver bikes to any of them. Also following the lead of free off street parking in the city of London offered by the city of Westminster vectrix continues to lobby for an easier way of getting around with less congestion, less fuel costs, less time spent parking and more importantly less pollution.
