Scooter News Lambretta Returns Lambretta returns to the world stage being launched at last months Milan show.
Being a name we all associate with scooters the Lambretta will take many back to the olden days where they first experienced the world of scooters. Well that day has returned for Italy and Europe anyway but not as we remember it.
The new model is being distributed by Motem who is said to have exclusive access to the design.
The Lambretta name finds itself on this chinese built retro that has a classic style different to that of the Motego's, Cino's and City models we see here in Australia already.
For me its the next generation classic scooter to emerge from china and we should see the design in many guises around the world.
These shots taken are from an American retailers website the scooter goes by the code name of MC - 42 but it is an exact replication of the new Lambretta.
So will we see this new generation of Lambretta here in Australia?
I am really not sure if we will see it as the Lambretta but I would put some money on it finding its way to Australia under another brand or model.
By the way the scooter has twin disc brakes , a suspension set up similar to that of the old Lambretta's.
The scooter even mimics the latest vespa's by having a footwell and front section showing off radiator vents and a glove box mimicking the GT/GTS range.
Keep you posted......
