Bug Agility 125

Bug unleashes super-value 125 scooter

-

Bug, one of Australia's fastest growing scooter brands, has launched the all-new 125cc Bug Agility.

The ultra-reliable Bug Agility features a unique blend of European styling, a highly efficient fuel-saving engine and a string of features at a very affordable price of just $2999 plus on-road costs.

The Bug Agility costs around $8 to fill up, and has a range of over 220km thanks to an extraordinary fuel consumption rate of just 3 litres/100km (93 miles per gallon).

Powered by a smooth and responsive 125cc four-stroke engine driving through a fully automatic CVT transmission, the Bug Agility boasts push-button electric start, a comfortable seat with ample under-seat storage, an integrated rear rack and grab rail, a steering lock and a dash-mounted digital clock.

Other features include a dual-caliper front disc brake, lightweight 12-inch alloy wheels mounting wide 120 and 130 section tyres front and rear, adjustable rear suspension, integrated pillion foot-rests, a halogen headlight, a carry-bag hook and two helmet hooks.

"The Agility is very well equipped and represents compelling value for scooter buyers thanks to its $2999 price tag, in addition to its very low running costs," says Peter Lynch, managing director, Bug Scooters.

Bug Scooters has played a major role in the scooter boom currently sweeping Australia, edging to the third most popular scooter brand in 2005, ahead of Vespa.

The scooter market is the fastest-growing motorised two wheel segment nationally, eclipsing 10,000 sales in 2005.

"The success of the Bug brand has been built on reliability, affordability and rideability," Mr Lynch said.

"Feedback from our customers and dealers across Australia suggests Bug buyers enjoy hassle-free scootering and great value for money. It's a level of customer satisfaction that we have strived for, and will continue to develop as the Bug range of scooters grows."

The Bug Agility is available in blue, black, red and silver and comes with 12 months' unlimited kilometres warranty.

The Bug range of scooters features nine models ranging from 50cc through to 250cc.
