Brisbane Day 7 - Ride for Autism We spend the day in Brisbane
Chris Newbold 8th March after our first night at Gateway Village Resort. We finally worked out how to get a decent nights sleep “separate rooms”. (Poor Kirk, nobody loves him) This gave everyone a chance for a refreshing sleep. Thank You to Big 4. (Kirk is not having a problem and can’t understand what ours is.)
Today we headed out to The Homemakers Centre at Everton Park where 2 local Lions Clubs again set up their wonderful sausage sizzle which really draws the people to where we are. Had another successful day talking and getting signatures for our petition.
Kirks Mum, Brother, sister-in-law and Nephew came to visit Kirk and Paul. We understand why they came to Queensland to get away from them. Finally we found the intelligent side of the Smith Family (Brock, Kirks 8 year old Nephew).
The Arqin 125 Sprint Scooters are rock solid, they are handling the conditions well. The bikes will be tested tomorrow when we ride from South Brisbane to Bunderberg.
Tonight we are headed to the local Diggers club for dinner, hopefully we will get some more signatures and Donations and Mike will not find a Barman to Kiss.
