Grafton to Port Macquarie Day 20 - Ride for Autism Getting closer now as we launch into Port Macquarie.
Chris Newbold 21st March the Ride 4 Autism . Last night we stayed at Grafton at the Ski Lodge.
Early start again (fog,mist and finally a kangaroo) On the way to Port Macquarie we stopped in at Darlington Beach Resort to give all the kids staying there a chance of a ride on the scooters. Thanks Grahame for all your support.
Next stop Panthers Bowling and Sports Club where a wonderful seafood lunch (Good Friday Bonus) was provided by the Lions Club, can never thank the Lions enough especially Mary for the donation and help with raising funds.
From there it was down to the Village Green in the heart of Port Macquarie, the visitors and residents of Port are very generous and interested in the cause and effect of Autism.
Dinnertime saw us poolside at The Big4, Sundowner Breakwall Tourist Park. What a great turnout, a Jazz band, Paella and wine tasting provided for all to enjoy and the Darrell Lea Hamper was won by one of the band members.
Off to Newcastle early in the Morning. Getting close to the finish now, hope the scooters hold out as well as they have so far.
