Sydney Day 22 - Ride for Autism We plan the day tripping around Sydney and seeing how our good mate Ray is doing in Hospital.
Chris Newbold We spent last night having a few drinks, while Kaye went up the hospital to see how ray was going. We are all concerned about him, we are all upset with what happened but we are all glad that ray is going to be ok, but also disappointed that Ray is unable to do the final leg back to Wollongong.
We headed down to Wisemans Ferry to hand out some information and sold some hats and stubby holders. We spent a few hours down at the pub talking to the local bikers and we met a member of the Australian Bikers club, who gave us contacts to help us in the future.
In the afternoon we all headed to Westmead hospital to see Ray our medical man who was going to look after us all. BUT instead he got hurt. Ray is going well and we still can’t believe how high his spirits is, everyone is so glad he is ok and we will organise to catch up when we are finished. “Ray you’re a champ”.
Tomorrow we are heading home. We will be at Martin Place in the morning. Then we will leave at 9am and head to Bald Hill at Stanwell Tops, where will be meeting members of the Illawarra Riders Club who are going to join us for the ride back into Wollongong City Mall.
