Honda Australia

Honda Australia is pleased to announce a number of changes to the structure of their Motorcycle department including key appointments in the sales and marketing divisions.

After eight years with the company, Mr Tony Sesto has been appointed as National Sales Manager, Motorcycles.

Tony first served the company as a Marketing Analyst, followed by the roles of Victorian Territory Manager and Assistant Sales Manager (Motorcycles), and he was most recently responsible for successfully developing the key role of Manager, Customer Service Division.

Having previously worked for Honda across a range of fields including accessories, racing, marketing and public relations, Mr Glyn Griffiths has also taken on the role of Motorcycle Marketing Manager.

Glyn returned to the company last year in the role of Business Development Manager, Motorcycles, where he had key responsibilities for developing Honda’s 4-wheel motorcycle, personal watercraft (PWC) and motorcycle-related Government business.

Further management appointments include the role of Motorcycle Planning and Budgeting Manager which has been filled by Mr Phil Reynolds.

As a long serving employee of the company, most recently Brand and Product Planning Manager, Phil brings over 14 years company experience to the position including time spent as the National Sales Manager, as well as Territory Manager for Rural Victoria.

Honda has also appointed Mr Mick Smith to the position of Corporate Business Specialist.

Over the last 24 years, Mick has taken on various roles with Honda in sales, marketing and service including Motorcycle Territory Manager for Victoria/Tasmania, and most recently Assistant National Service Manager.

With responsibility for government contracts, Mick will now be responsible for the management and development of business with Australia Post as well as various Police Departments across the country.

General Manager, Motorcycles, Tony Hinton said Honda is looking forward to another record year with a fresh new organisational structure to back them up.

“I am personally thrilled to announce these appointments, as each of these people bring a great depth of industry knowledge and experience into positions that will optimise their skills.”

“Honda has just celebrated another record year in terms of motorcycle sales in this country, and we will continue to build upon that momentum through the hard work of our staff.”
