Scootermarket supports the Fifteen Foundation

Melbourne's leading scooter retailer Scootermarket is proudly supporting the Fifteen Foundation Australia.

Mark Cooper

The Fifteen Foundation was setup by super chef Jamie Oliver to inspire young people. Scootermarket has donated a new Aprilia Mojito 125cc Scooter to the Fifteen Foundation as a local support vehicle for the staff of Fifteen to use on a day-to-day basis.

The Aprilia Mojito is the same model used by Jamie Oliver in the two Naked Chef series, which launched the Mojito as a style icon on the streets of Sydney and Melbourne. The Aprilia Mojito will be used for a period of six months by the Foundation and then auctioned with all proceeds going back to the Foundation to help support the young people.

The opening night of Fifteen Melbourne, the new Restaurant in Melbourne's Flinders Lane saw Jamie Oliver sign the Aprilia Scooter lending further support to the local Foundation. For more information about the Foundation and the great work they are doing check out www.fifteenfoundation.org.au

Mark Cooper from MOTO group, brand Management Company for Aprilia Scooters said: We were really happy to coordinate the deal between Scooter Market and the Fifteen Foundation in Melbourne for the donation of the Aprilia Mojito Scooter. We saw the Mojito Scooter to be a natural choice to help the Foundation in a number of ways, but the special thanks really needs to go back to the Foundation for arranging Jamie Oliver to sign his icon scooter which he made famous in the two Naked Chef series. The foundation now have a really collectable scooter that should serve them well as a support vehicle and later as a auction item that will bring in well needed funds to support the great work they are doing for the kids. The guys from Scooter Market could not have been more helpful and loved the idea as soon as I put it to them. A great result all round and a good team effort from all involved.
