Scooter News Kymco People S 300i With the 300 class growing quickly Kymco releases a 300 cc version of the People S for the European market.
Motoblog.it Kymco has released a new 300cc version of the popular People S which is already available in a number of capacities and sizes.
The 300cc commuter category right now is certainly the growing one through Europe with models like Honda's SH300i and the new Citycom 300 from SYM and not to mention the new Vespa 300 GTS. This market is certainly growing in popularity and with most brands having a number of models fitting this ilk it can only be a matter of time before we see a few in Australia.
But as for the People S 300i its very much business as usual but with some extra power on tap.
The 250cc People S already has a nice set of features including dual disk brakes on the front end as well as the rear, ample storage, dual shock rear end and fuel injection.
What the The People S 300i does get is a nice little power boost putting out 22.8hp up from the 250 cc versions 15.8hp. Like other brands the People S runs a "not true" 300cc engine with the Kymco being 270cc in capacity.
Some subtle styling changes finish the package like a slightly tinted screen which distinguishes the 300cc model.
The first 300cc scooter on the marketn Australia will most likely be the Vespa 300GTS in September.
