Benelli Feature QuattroNove X Soon to land on Australian shores the Benelli 49X will inject something different into the 50cc market .
Allen Drysdale It would appear that Benelli have returned to the Australian scooter scene with the intent of selling copious amounts of scooters.
The Pepe 50 with its large wheels and classic styling should be a massive hit starting at just 2190 + ORC.
Then in the 125 cc class we have the reintroduction of the Benelli Velvet 125 at just $3290 + ORC which has been priced right on target and smack in the middle of the fastest growing capacity segment in Australia.
Now we see the introduction later this month of the 49X or as the Italians would have it the QuattroNove X.
Available in two formats with a balloon 10 inch tyre or in the standard 12 inch configuration the 49X strikes a different pose to most.
With its open style handlebars and somewhat different styling the 49X was first seen on the stands in Milan as a concept scooter yet with the resurgence of Benelli we see the model hit production in such a short time frame.
Inspired somewhat by the hot 50cc 2 stroke market in Europe the 49X comes standard with a wrap around power pipe and a wavey disc rotor on the front.
RRP will be set at $2590 + ORC
Stay Tuned.......
