Scootersales.com.au
The summer of 2008/2009 will be a hive of activity as we see the launch of few scooters that might just shape the market in years to come. We have recently seen the launch of the new Benelli range into Australia and we cant forget the landing of the SYM Orbit 125. Well thats just the start!
Here are just a few of my favorite upcoming scooters to wet the appetite.

SYM Fiddle II
Known overseas as the Fiddle II we will have to wait to the new year before we get to see and get our hands on what is set to be the best value retro scooter on the market today.
Expect the Fiddle II to be an instant hit with those wanting a flat floor retro with all the squared off styling of the Vespa LX range. Cant Wait.......

CityCom 300 i.e.
The CityCom 300 should be one of those scooters that launches onto the market as a no holding back commuter capable of anything.
With a 270 something cc fuel injected engine thrown into a thin streamlined body the CityCom will prove that this new 300cc class scooter has no boundaries when it comes to performance and value.
Look out for the CityCom 300 sometime around the end of the year and if your looking for an upgrade then this might just be the ticket.
We will have plenty more coming up on the CityCom 300 over the next couple of months.

TGB X motion 250 i.e.
Another keenly priced commuter scooter from Taiwan in the 250 cc category.
This scooter will carry all the features of a maxi with large storage, twin shocks, digital dash just being a few features to name.
Oh and as well it runs fuel injection all for just $5990! Expect it shortly.

Benelli Velvet 250 i.e.
Again with a fuel injected motor the Benelli Velvet has just been resurrected onto the Australian Scooter Market in a 125 cc capacity.
Now think of a 250cc fuel injected 250 cc scooter for around the 5 grand mark and what you have is Benelli Velvet 250 i.e.
Don't expect this baby till the back half of the summer in 2009 but when it does arrive expect the Benelli to provide a 250cc scooter at what you would expect to pay for some 125's.

Benelli 49x
A chunky styled 50 cc scooter with a power pipe to match the racer looks.
Set to arrive in both 10 and 12 inch wheel versions the Benelli will certainly offer a point of difference in the 50 cc class.
The Benelli 49x is due soon and expect it sometime in October 2008

|
Vespa GTS 300 i.e.
Due in just a couple of weeks time comes the largest capacity Vespa scooter that you can buy on the market today.
Its a true GT scooter in every sense and expect the Vespa to be at the top of the tree when the best handling/performing scooters are being talked about.
Price is already set at $8990 + ORC

Aprilia Sportscity 125
With its large spoked wheels and sporty style this will be the first budget Aprilia to hit the market.
An entry level scooter, the hope will be that people jump at the chance of getting onto a brand that has so much racing heritage.
Once you've taken a sip from the aprilia cup the journey just begins.
Expect the Aprilia early in the summer. |
|
Derbi Rambla 250 i.e.
Following hot on the heels of the GP1 range of scooters the Derbi Rambla will provide those looking for a tried and tested flat floor scooter with plenty of refined performance.
Very much an Aprilia Sportcity 250 at heart with a few styling differences.
