Benelli is a historic Italian name in two wheels tracing its origins back to the 1920's. The iconic Benelli factory has produced some truly memorable machines including the legendary six cylinder motorcycles of the 60's. Today Benelli is part of the QJ Group a listed company with capitalisation of more than $750,000,000 USD. Benelli provides the QJ group with Italian design & technology while QJ has the industrial muscle with modern manufacturing facilities covering 67,000 square metres.
Benelli Scooters are designed in Italy & produced in QJ's Wenling facility using the latest machinery sourced from the US, Italy & Germany. This allows Benelli to bring premium Italian designed scooters to the market at Asian production costs, greatly lower than European production. The Benelli business is important to QJ establishing themselves in many overseas markets making the marque a key asset to the QJ Group. From the Scooter HQ point of view the current range of Benelli scooters are of similar quality to Piaggio, Honda or Yamaha models produced in overseas joint venture factories.
