Scooter News Vectrix "Electric Maxi" Electric scooter due for release shortly.
Allen Drysdale The Australian distributor for Vectrix plans to have this unique electric scooter on sale towards the end of January 07.
This is reported to be when Australian homologation will be finished.
The first showroom will be open in Melbourne at this time with showrooms in both Sydney and Brisbane to open not long after and probably towards mid next year.
The Vectrix electric scooter was recently released to favorable reviews in Milan, Italy along with further concepts and use for the electric powered scooter.
In Europe Vectrix will enjoy favorable cost benefits through registration and insurance deductions due to the environmental contribution this scooter makes and maybe somebody should apply that principle not only to Vectrix in Australia but also to scooters in general.
I dare say with all the talk of global warming we might be seeing a lot more of the Vectrix.
Vectrix are set to launch the Electric first followed by a number of models including a cool three wheeled version not too different from Piaggio's MP3 range.(apart from it being electric of course)
