US website names Piaggio and Vespa in Annual Awards

US website www.motorcycle.com has selected scooters from the Piaggio stable to share honours in its "Best Of" awards.

The unique 3-wheeled marvel Piaggio MP3 500 (Marketed as the Gilera Fuoco in Australia) took out the "Best Scooter" award for its paradigm shifting performance. It has been acknowledged for its safety enhancing dynamic abilities in braking and grip as well as its liberal injection of sheer fun (motorcycle.com).

Australia's top selling Vespa GTS300 Super also received an "Honourable Mention" nod for it's combination of style and performance. It has well and truly claimed it's position as the ultimate classic.
