Scooter News What's new at Kymco Kymco, distributed by Bug Scooters in Australia, is becoming increasingly popular in Europe and is busy shaping scooters for the future.
Allen Drysdale Kymco has increased its popularity in Europe tenfold as it has in Australia with models such as the Bug Espresso 150.
Recently it launched a range of scooters targeting the European market with a number of them compatible with Euro 3 emissions standards. This meaning it has added a host of fuel injected engines to its line up.
With this it has released models that should reach popularity for being smart and practical.
Kymco now has 200,250 and 500 cc engines all in a fuel injected configuration. This is big news for a Taiwanese manufacture and will give it plenty of scope into the future.
Kymco’s People range (known here as the espresso and soon to be launched Orion 200) shows its commitment to the large wheeled scooter segment by being offered in a 50, 125, 200 250 cc options. The 200 and 250 will both be fuel injected.
The “Exiting” a maxi cruiser scooter as seen in last copy of Two Wheels Scooter has also been upgraded to include a fuel injected 250 and 500 cc version.
A smart thinking scooter the "New Dink" brings with it a European influence. The new dink is styled around being suited to a range of functions.
Good weather protection with a large fairing and windshield along with a huge storage area due to the nature of its styling .This scooter would not only eat the small commute but would also be able to tackle that medium long range trip. Seat height is a comfortable 790 mm and the floor is wide and flat for comfort and convenience. Tyres are 13 inch on the front and 12 inch on the rear. Brakes are disc front and rear. The New Dink has a love it or hate it style but all in all it could be the perfect urban scooter.
The New Dink is being released in a 50, 125 and also a 200cc fuel injected version.
The Kymco super 8 is a scooter for those that like theirs sporty. Available in a go fast colour scheme the super 8 is available in both a 50 and 125 capacity.
As you can see Kymco has a scooter to suit every need and is definitely putting itself in a position to grow with the future
