Media Release Honda- new product information Scoot down to a honda dealer for hot new colours
Allen Drysdale reports With the cost of petrol busting the bowsers at around $1.30 litre, Honda’s simple solution to the affordable transportation problem is available now with the release of two new 2006 scooter models.
The ever popular Today50 was created with the goal of providing a small two-wheeler that is fun, convenient and economical to as many people as possible. It is so popular, in fact, that it was Australia’s biggest selling scooter in 2005!
The latest version of the Today50 comes in three funky colours for 2006; Sirius Blue Metallic, Taurus Gray Metallic and Pink.
The Today50 is a new style of eco-friendly, super-economical machinery that offers a reliable 4 stroke, 50cc engine tuned for ultra-low emissions and the right amount of low to mid-range zip - just right for the frequent starts and acceleration of city driving.
The Today50 looks great and is easy to ride with an electric push-button start, low seat height and V-matic transmission.
For those wanting a little more power, the fashionable 2006 @125 is also available in two new colours including Quasar Silver Metallic and Velvet Red/Grey Metallic. The @125 always grabs attention with its modern, curvaceous lines and unique 2-in-1 headlight.
Its spacious, comfortable proportions almost make you forget how lithe and agile it can be, and its elliptical curves conceal a convenient carrying compartment right under its plushly padded seat.
Specifications and price remain unchanged for both scooters. Recommended retail for the Today50 is an affordable $1,990 whilst the @125 retails at $5,890. published 2/08/2006 |
