Over Fifty Scooters turned up at Subiaco Oval on the 29th of November 2009 for the newly announced Piaggio Christmas scooter ride. Machines included a mix of early and late model, including some non-Piaggio rides like some old school Lambretta's.

Late model Vespa's dominated the ride mainly consisting of GTS 250ie's and GTS Super 300's. Of course there was a great classic showing of Vespa PX bikes not to mention some bigger sportier machines like the Gilera Fuoco.

Meeting at 10:30 am and departing at 11, the convoy made it's way through the Perth CBD to meet at the final destination, South Perth foreshore.

The weather was fine and sunny and many riders ended the cruise with a nice picnic and chat. With responsible and safe riding, there were no accidents and the day was enjoyed by all.
