New Importer and Distributor Stoney Creek Powersports is set to increase the Peugeot model range in Australia. As previously reported the French manufacturer has released in Europe two new models the Satelis and Geopolis. Both these scooters look like being successful in their home country and throughout Europe where they set the pace for performance, comfort and design in the marketplace.
Australia will see these two new models with the Satelis being released in a 400 cc configuration as well as the Geopolis in both 250 and 400 cc configurations. Expect the pricing to be competitive and in line with other European brands.
Another model to be seen here for the first time will be the 50 cc TKR. This 50 cc chunky tyred scooter will provide those looking for a 50 cc performance scooter with an alternative. Have a look at the photo gallery, as its design is unique and this scooter will certainly stand out from the crowd.
Staying in the 50 cc segment and along the lines of performance the Speedfight 50 will join its 100cc partner in the market. Performance will be enhanced through liquid cooling. And lastly the Ludix Blaster will come in a sporty RCUP derivative which will certainly look the part.
Peugeot has huge market share in Europe where it has seen an extensive model range and customer support provide sales and growth far exceeding what we have seen in Australia. Seems that is about to turn around with a range of products and a dealer network that is expanding to compliment the brand.
Expect the models above to be in Australia and on sale around the start of the third quarter in 2007. All Peugeot models will be sourced and manufactured in France.
