Founded in 1922 by Simeon Rabasa Singla, Derbi started its life as a bicycle repair shop. After World War 2 Derbi started building its first moped the Derbi SRS.
Today Derbi is apart of the Piaggio group which gives it access to engines and other resources. Derbi has a number of scooters within its range and focuses on the domestic European market.
Urban mobility has always been an important aspect in developing new product strategies. So, in an effort to widen its range of scooters Derbi recently proposed the new Boulevard S 125 and 250, a high-wheel model that offers a modern elegance and class, specific to this category.
Another impressive model from Derbi is the sporty GP-1 125 – 250i. It's comfortable and versatile.
Also, the 250cc model has the Piaggio quasar motor with electronic fuel injection thus improving consumption and significantly increasing engine progression.
Over the last three years Derbi has systematically renewed its products while constantly broadening the range it offers, putting all its passion for design and new trends into its models. Through continual technological and stylistic innovation, Derbi is trying to satisfy the demands of its younger clientele.
