RUNNER “BLACK SOUL” (European Release Only)
Streamline, aggressive and racing look; three displacements and four powerful engines, all water-cooled; a top-notch chassis characterised by its lightweight and superior rigidity; 14” front wheel and top-class braking system. These are the characteristics that make the Gilera Runner the sporting scooter par excellence, the perfect “link in the chain” between a scooter and a motorbike which summarises the concept of a "scooter with the heart of a motorbike".
"Black Soul" is the utmost aesthetic expression of the Runner's racing soul.
This special series uses matt-finish black to enhance the fierce personality of the scooter and the same colour is used on other features such as the wheel rims and the passenger grab handles, whilst gold coloured finishes lend the scooter a supersport look: it has golden streamer graphics that decorate the saddle and fairing, the words Gilera and Runner in gold on the side panels, and gold coloured wheel rim borders.
This brand new fierce and dark look is matched by its high performance levels: this supersport Gilera is available in four different displacements - 50, 50 Pure Jet, 125 and 200 cc - all powerful, top-notch and water cooled engines. All displacements of the Runner engines are top performers in their respective classes, turning this new Gilera model into a "traffic light burner".
FUOCO 2011
The racing heart of the most powerful 3-wheeler is beating under the two ring logo. From racetrack asphalt to the desert sand, Gilera's history has always focused on passion, adventure and innovation: Gilera Fuoco 500ie is the perfect synopsis of this history.
The 2011 version of Fuoco has brand new matt-grey coloured graphics which enhances its original and aggressive look. The new steel grey colour of the front tube trellis frame structure, with inserts in metal mesh, highlights the aggressive design of the front end, a distinctive sign of Gilera's 3-wheeled vehicle, with a chromatic choice also used at the rear end, on the passenger grab handles. Fuoco's racing soul is also highlighted by the bright red details of the brand new graphics, the red wheel rim edges and the red relief stitching on the saddle.
The personality of the Gilera Fuoco is not restricted to its amazing aesthetics: the technology of the dual-wheeled front end, combined with the revolutionary four-sided articulated front suspension and combined with the use of powerful dual-ignition 500 cc engine guarantees top-class racing performance and pure enjoyment in absolute safety.
