Released at Eicma 2010, the Vespa Touring edition in both LX and GTS formats. These are European only models and not sold in Australia. Saying that, these models are spruced up from the Piaggio accessory catalogue and could be somewhat matched here (minus the badges!). The Tuscan brown colour you see in the pictures is representative of the latest edition GTS 250 to arrive in Australia recently. You can see that HERE

VESPA - TOURING Special Edition
Style and comfort in compact dimensions and with timeless style: the Touring versions of the Vespa ooze character with their original colour schemes and elegant finish and trim details.
Vespa LX Touring and Vespa GTS Touring
The Touring Special Edition was inspired by the Vespa's endless scope for personalisation. The Touring variant, which is now also available for the mighty GTS as well as for the svelte LX, draws inspiration from the thousands of specially equipped Vespas for touring that have taken entire generations on road trips all over the world.
Alongside the sporty “Terra di Toscana Brown”, which was a huge hit with the original version, next season, the Vespa LX Touring will also be available in elegant and subtle Perseo Bronze.
The Vespa GTS Touring retains the same characteristics of the Vespa LX Touring, and is offered with the sole 300 cc engine variant and in the single colour “Terra di Toscana Brown”, just like the Vespa conceived for long distance touring.
The finish ands trim for both the GTS and LX versions of the Touring special edition has been conceived to complement the stiff, compact bodyshell: the standard chromed luggage racks at both the front and rear significantly extend the vehicle's load carrying capacity; the rounded and transparent windshield envelops Vespa's eye to give it another touch of elegance and augment the rider's level of protection. Vespa Touring comes standard with the easy and agile side kickstand, the most convenient solution for parking.
The saddle, made from latest generation materials, is dark brown on all Touring versions; while specific, their bonded, double stitched seams further emphasise the innate elegance of the Vespa.
However, the features that best highlight the classic style of this timeless legend and complement the compactness of the Vespa, are the lateral plastic elements encasing the lower portion of the vehicle, which are colour coded with the bodyshell: with Terra di Toscana Brown for the new GTS Touring, and the same colour or the all new bronze colour for the LX Touring.
The “Touring” badge proudly flaunted on the shield back plate alongside the glove box identifies the new Special Edition and accentuates the sophistication and elegance of the Vespa LX and Vespa GTS.
With their state of the art global design, catalytic converters and the advanced SAS secondary air system, the engines powering both the Vespa LX Touring and the GTS Touring are fully compliant with the strictest emissions regulations.
Offered with a choice of ultra modern 2 and 4 stroke 50 cc engines and 4 stroke 125 and 150 cc powerplants, the Vespa LX Touring is quick and agile for everyday urban use, but also perfectly suitable for taking on higher speed journeys in complete confidence.
The Vespa GTS Touring is powered by a state of the art 300 cc engine with electronic injection delivering plenty of low end torque (22.3 Nm). On the road, these numbers translate into flexibility and low speed pick-up that are without par in this engine category.
