VESPA - SPORT Special Edition
The Sport Special Edition of the Vespa embodies the values of style, comfort, safety and sportiness while citing legendary models of the past such as the 1955 Vespa GS 150, the 1964 180 SS and the T5 “Pole Position” from 1985.
Four engine choices for two different models: Even sportier and more aggressive, the Vespa GTS SuperSport and Vespa S Sport are objects of pure desire.
Since its earliest days, there have always been sports versions of the Vespa, which were frequently used in both circuit racing and in major off-road competitions. The Sport versions of the Vespa GTS Super and Vespa S offer a modern interpretation of this extraordinary sports heritage, which has written unforgettable chapters in Vespa history.
The Sport special editions of the Vespa are immediately recognisable: on the Vespa S, the leg shield back plate is emblazoned with the original “Sport” badge next to the glove box, while the Vespa GTS flaunts the “SuperSport” moniker. On the shield and left hand flank of the Vespa GTS are two burnished plaques with the classic “Vespa” logo.
The suspension gains a distinctive racing red finish for the front spring, a motorsports detail that makes the Vespa GTS Super and Vespa S stand out from the crowd.
An aggressive front cowl emphasises the sporty character of the scooters.
Vespa S Sport (Euro Only)
Vespa S is the very latest addition to the Sport special edition. All the freshness and authenticity of the Vespa S now interpreted in a sporty key; the pure, minimalist style of the Vespa S, which cites classic models of the 1970's, has now been given a sportier, more casual treatment.
The simple yet eye-catching livery of the Vespa S Sport emphasises its classic, restrained forms: a light grey stripe originates from the end of the front mudguard and continues at the rear of the scooter into the tail, perfectly complementing the standard titanium grey of the vehicle and giving the Vespa S Sport a touch of visual lightness and subdued elegance. The matte black wheels further underscore the elegant essentiality of the Vespa S Sport.
Vespa GTS SuperSport
The Vespa GTS SuperSport is a blend of distinctiveness and character, as well as sportiness and performance. After a year of success for the original, sporty titanium grey colour and the 300 cc engine, this year there the Vespa GTS SuperSport offers twice as much choice in terms of both engine size and style. Vespa GTS SuperSport is now also available with a 125 cc electronic injection engine and in an extremely elegant matte black colour scheme. (Euro Only)
The body, Vespa's metallic essence, is distinguished by a score of personality. The right hand side now sports a distinctive grille with horizontal slots - a clear reference to the most stylish Vespas of the past - which gives a marked sporty touch to the side view of the vehicle.
Vespa GTS SuperSport is available as 300 and 125 ie versions, the Vespa S Sport is available with a choice of 150 cc, 125 cc and 2 and 4 stroke 50 cc engines.
Australia will get the GTS 300 SuperSport shortly
