Eicma 2010 SYM Maxsym 400i New maxi scooter released by SYM at Eicma.
SYM
Thin on final numbers (like actual capacity, power output etc), SYM showed off the all new 400 cc maxi, the Maxsym 400i.
From what we could see, obvious upgrades over the 300 Maxsym (Firenze) include, dual front disc brakes and of-course the 400cc designation. The Maxsym is larger than the 300 and takes on some different styling cues at the front. With an increase in size, also comes a significant increase in storage capacity as well.
SYM look to be filling in the gaps from 50 cc right through to the larger maxi class, ensuring they have something for everybody. The Maxsym 400i will help cater to those looking for a scooter that will tackle extended freeway type speeds with ease.
SYM note the following features:
- Dual Headlights
- Front LED lights
- Excellent Ergonomics For Long Distances
- Fuel Injection
Once we have more detail on this new maxi we will be sure to let you know. It is also unclear if this model will make it across from Taiwan to Australia, again we will let you know.
One thing for sure is that if it lands, the SYM Maxsym 400i will offer plenty of bang for your buck. The Firenze 300 here in Australia retails for around $6000 plus, that's an amazing scooter for the money.
