I first came across the GTV 300 "Vie della Moda" at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan. A very classy looking GTV that carries on with the theme of being a limited production special edition.
I'm happy to say that the "Vie della Moda" has now been released in Australia and those lucky enough to be at last weeks Sydney Scooter Expo would have seen this model on display for the very first time.

The headlight mounted on the front mudguard of the GTV is a clear reference to the origins of the Vespa. And so is the handlebar - the simple exposed metal tube of the earliest Vespas now reappears on the Vespa GTV "Vie della Moda", and echoes the trend seen in today's motorcycles.
The two-seat saddle in eco-leather is elegant and comfortable, and as on the original Vespas, is split into two separate elements, while the elegant piping emphasises its silhouette. The unique ruby red of the saddle chosen for this edition goes hand in hand with the elegant “Rosso Chianti” created exclusively for the Vespa GTV "Vie della Moda". The five spoke wheels are now chromed, adding an extra special touch to the "Vie della Moda" special edition.
