CF Moto Australia
On the back of an outstanding market share result in August, the newest
player in the Australian ATV market – CF Moto ‐ is set to release a
number of new models to further entrench the burgeoning brand in the
local market.
Launched earlier this month is the CF Moto Z6 Spec R – an up‐spec 625cc
side x side – to be followed over coming months by the Z8 (an 800cc
sports side x side) and the X8 (an 800cc agricultural ATV).
Joining these new ATV and side x side models in the CF Moto range will
be a 650 cc sports bike to be launched early in the new year, which will
come in both a LAMS and non‐LAMS form.
An established powersports manufacturer renowned the world over, CF Moto
officially arrived in the Australian market last year boasting a truly
unique and innovative product range including rugged ATVs, sporty
motorcycles and stylish scooters.
CF Moto products themselves are no stranger to the Australian market,
with its range of scooters and ATVs having previously been re‐badged
prior to distribution throughout Australia. In 2010 the decision was
made to badge and market all products under the proud and long‐standing
CF Moto factory name.
CF Moto manufacturing is based in Hangzhou, China, and the company has
been manufacturing power driven products for over 20 years. CF Moto is
firmly set on becoming the world’s leading supplier of powersports
products, a goal that will be achieved by keeping a constant focus on
its core values of continual improvement, innovation and quality. The CF
Moto manufacturing plant dedicates over 25 per cent of its 1,000‐strong
workforce to research and development.
In Australia, CF Moto is distributed by Mojo Motorcycles, who were
established eight years ago and are the exclusive distributor for TGB
scooters, Daelim and Sachs motorcycles and scooters, and CF Moto
scooters, motorcycles and ATVs in Australia. CF Moto ATVs have been in
the market for less than twelve months under the CF Moto banner and in
August 2011 continued their strong growth by grabbing 3.3% share of the
national ATV market.
The CF Moto brand across all product channels currently holds 1.1% of
the entire Australian motorcycle market for the period January – August
2011, with all Mojo Motorcycles brands representing over 2.5% share of
the entire national market over the same period.
“This result is no mean feat for this upcoming brand, however it is only
the tip of the iceberg of what will be achieved over coming months and
years,” says Mojo Motorcycles National Sales Manager Alan Collins.
“CF Moto has been manufacturing products globally for over 20 years and
has worked hard to produce an extensive range of high‐end products with
highly competitive price points.
“The quality of CF Moto machines in outstanding and is supported by
strong warranty and after sales support, such as the 2‐Year Warranty
offered on most CF Moto ATVs. Mojo Motorcycles has been in the
distribution game a long time and has built their reputation not just on
great products, but also outstanding after sales service.”
The CF Moto brand enforces a zero defect policy and has adopted
innovative production methods to ensure every product is finished to the
highest quality possible. These methods are internationally certified
to ISO9001:2000 and TS16949 standards while all completed vehicles align
with EEC, EPA and DOT requirements.
CF Moto manufactures an impressive 600,000 vehicles annually and these
numbers are only the beginning. The name CF Moto may be relatively new
in Australia, however already has a well established global distribution
network throughout Europe, North and South America, New Zealand and
Africa as well as in China.
CF Moto ATVs come fully equipped with automatic CVT (continuous variable
transmission) and selectable 2WD/4WD modes with a low/high range and
independent rear suspension. The CF Moto agricultural range of ATVs
varies from a base model 500cc (CF 500) at $5,290 RRP, an up‐spec 500cc
(the X5) at $6,990 and the X6 (625cc) at $7,990, through to the Rancher
500cc UTV at $8,990 RRP and the new X8 800cc ATV at $9,990 RRP. The X5,
X6 and all UTV and side x side models come complete with a 2‐Year
Factory Warranty.
And when there is time to play CF Moto has three recreational models,
the CF Moto Z6, Z6 Spec R and Z8 (800cc) that have all the features to
whet your racing appetite, including an electric winch, tow hitch and
alloy wheels as standards.
With new models to be released in all three product channels and the word spreading, CF Moto is definitely the brand to watch!
