Last weekend in Torino, Italy, Red Bull held a truly unique event - The Lingotto Special. An event for the classics which was made up of a number of special stages.
Firstly you were judged on your costume choice for the day, easy. Secondly you were timed in removing and replacing a wheel, again not a problem for our Italian friends. Bonus points were rewarded for how fast you may have completed this task. Next the climb, circling around till you reach the oval racetrack at the top of the building, a breathtaking ride spiralling upwards. But this was trumped at the end of the day. You were required to complete two laps of the track, an oval proving ground once used by Fiat. The two laps were easy, awesome even, though points were rewarded for completing the two laps in the closest possible time.
The scene for the day was the historic Fiat factory, a truly magnificent site. The winner on the day was a fella named Giacomo Tiberti with a special award going to Andrea Revel who created a very special multi coloured Vespa. The pictures speak for themselves, we just had to post them.....
