November Market Update: TGB Scooters

TGB has marked November 2011 with another round of great results according to the latest figures released by the industry data specialist, ERG International.

TGB Scooters continued to grow in the Australian market, expanding sales a further 39% in 2011 in comparison to the same time last year.

As an established brand, TGB scooters have continued to grow month on month and this has allowed TGB to continue to hold the title of 6th highest selling scooter brand in Australia.

“Month on month TGB continues to record excellent results in the market and this comes down to what TGB stands for. TGB is quality, reliability and value for money and this is what Australians want,” said TGB National Sales Manager, Alan Collins.

TGB scooters are manufactured in Taiwan and come with a 2 Year Factory Warranty. TGB scooters range from 50cc to 250cc model and are supported by over 33 years manufacturing and development experience.

“TGB scooters have been available in Australia for over ten years and provide Australians with a fantastic range of economical and environmental scooters.”

According to ERG International, year to date TGB Scooters holds 8.3% of the entire Australian scooter market with more growth expect over coming months.  

The TGB range is just to get a little more exciting with the introduction of the new and improved TGB Xmotion 300 scooter this December.

The X Motion is powered by a 300cc 4 valve liquid cooled engine, complemented by Twist and Go fully automatic transmission with electric start. This scooter, now with more grunt than the previous X Motion 250 has the agility for city travel, as well as the high class grunt needed when hitting the freeways on the weekend.

TGB scooters are renowned for stylish designs and advanced mechanics to make these scooters industry leading.

November Market Update: CF Moto

In the most recent results released today by industry data specialist ERG International, overall CF Moto sales have grown a staggering 184% from the January – November period in 2010.

CF Moto’s ATV range has proven the power of value for money, quality products within the industry with an outstanding November result, owning 5.9% of the entire ATV market according to data provided by ERG International. 

This caps off an impressive November result for distributor Mojo Motorcycles who grabbed 3.3% of the entire national motorcycle market with its suite of brands.   

“CF Moto ATVs are showing their potential in the Australian market and have been consistently reporting growth every month since their introduction,” said CF Moto National Sales Manager, Alan Collins.


“With further product developments and greater brand awareness in Australia, the recorded CF Moto growth will only continue over months and years to come.”

CF Moto manufacturing is based in Hangzhou, China, and while a relatively new brand in Australia, has an established global network.

Annually, CFMoto manufactures over 600, 000 vehicles.

CF Moto focuses its designs on quality build, reliability and value for money.

“As more and more Australians are coming to realise, CF Moto products are a true example of quality not always determining price,” said Alan Collins.

CF Moto is officially the fastest growing ATV brand in Australia, holding year to date 3% of the entire Australian ATV market with plenty of room for substantial growth in the last month of 2011 and 2012!

While ATVs have had an exceptional introduction to the motorcycle market, the scooters and motorcycles have also been holding their own within the industry.

According to the latest release ERG data, CF Moto motorcycles have grown a whopping 181% on this time last year. This growth is a reflection of the expanding motorcycle product range that offers fantastic entry level bikes at fantastic price points.

CF Moto China’s General Manager, Mr Zhou and Head Engineer visited Australia in November also to educate themselves further on the Australian market and ensure that the brand continues to kick goals well in to the future.

Daelim Market Share Report: November 2011

Daelim motorcycles and scooters were only relaunched to the Australian market in late 2010 and since then sales have gone in to overdrive.

From the most recent results released by industry data specialist ERG International, the Daelim brand has grown an enormous 504% year to date from this time last year.

Daelim is a South Korean brand that designs an extensive range of scooters and motorcycles, and sales of Daelim have really starting to gain traction within the market, according to the ERG results.

While relatively new in Australia globally Daelim Motors is a phenomenon and the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Korea.. Daelim factory puts a large emphasis on product development and with over 30 years experience is a global leader in technology.  

Annually Daelim manufactures 300, 000 bikes globally.

Daelim motorcycles in Australia have been holding their own in the industry reporting 470% growth in sales from this time last year.

Not to be outdone by the Daelim motorcycle range, Daelim scooters have also posted amazing growth of their own.  Year to date results in comparison to this time last year, Daelim scooters sales have grown by 571%.

To complement sales in the month of November, Daelim was on show at the Sydney Motorcycle. The crowds of visitors to set their sights on the burgeoning range of scooters and motorcycles.

In addition to its superb product range on show, at the 2011 Sydney Motorcycle Show Daelim Australia welcomed members of the Daelim Korea senior management team.
