Once sold in Australia the Scarabeo 50 and 100 cc models had a style all of their own. Most likely ahead of the time its large wheels and cheeky styling have revolutionised the Italian big wheel scooter market.
You only have to look at www.apriliascarabeo.com to see the emphasis that is placed on the world of Scarabeo and how it has evolved as a brand all of it's own.
For 2007 the Scarabeo in its homeland (Italy) has again been revised to interpret the lifestyle that is Scarabeo. Just have a look at the range of funky trims you can get to customise your scooter to make it your own.

The smaller 50 and 100 cc version have recently been updated getting LED rear tail lights, a new instrument panel as well as a leather look seat that screams Italian style.

Now of course the smaller Scarabeo (50/100) are not available in Australia but that does not mean that you cant experience the world of Scarabeo for yourself.
The 250 and 500 cc versions are available in Australia with the 250 cc version being updated in the later half of 2007. The 2007 Scarabeo 250 was only just released in Milan late last year to lots of acclaim as it gets a styling revision to reflect the family as well as fuel injection.
Storage is also added under the seat just like its 500cc brother.
Scarabeo, it's a world all of it's own!
