Scooter News Arqin Leminz Triumph Congratulations to Dale Corser and the Arqin Team.
Arqin Motorcycles The 2006 Gold Coast Le Minz 24 hours Scooter-thon proved to be one of the most challenging and grueling events for both man and machine with extreme weather patterns making things interesting for the entire field. Rainy conditions through the nights session followed by high day time temperatures had the riders looking forward to the finish line.
Mark Brown and his Yamaha took the early lead before Dale Corser and his Arqin SPRINT 50cc Scooter took control of the race to eventually win there class and break the existing Guinness book of record of 981 km.Dale completed an amazing 1506 laps and covered a total distance of 993km proving yet again that Arqin Scooters are both fast and reliable.
Dale commented "That's two 24 hours Le Minz races this machine has done and two 1st place finishes we have achieved. That certainly says something about the reliability of Arqin scooters. The Sprint 50cc scooter's overall speed and awesome handling played a major part in allowing us to finish with 2 great results. At one stage of the race we were lapping 4 seconds a lap quicker than the other competitors on the circuits."
