Scooter News Bug Update Bug Scooters on the rise thanks to 4-year warranty
Bug Scooters Bug Scooters has continued its strong growth path from 2006, with a 6.3 per cent increase in sales for the first four months of 2007.
Bug Scooters has maintained its position as one of the three most popular brands in Australia, a position it has proudly held since 2005.
The recent announcement of Bug's revolutionary four-year/unlimited kilometre warranty is sure to see Bug challenge for more market share in 2007.
"The sales result for 2007 continues Bug's growing popularity, thanks to our comprehensive range of scooters, and emphasis on reliability and affordability," said Jason Cain, sales manager for Bug Scooters.
"The introduction of Bug's four-year unlimited km warranty - the best available warranty in the Australian two wheeled market - really provides prospective Bug scooter customers with complete peace of mind when making a very important decision."
Bug Scooters are made in Taiwan by Kymco, who produce over 400,000 scooters per annum world wide. The Kymco People 150 (Bug Espresso) is currently outselling Vespa in Italy, which really stands to prove the superior quality of all Kymco manufactured products.
The big-wheel Bug Espresso remains the top-selling scooter in NSW.
“We have unmatched confidence in every Bug Scooter model thanks to Kymco’s unbelievably high manufacturing standards and their superior quality of product.”
Mr Cain said Bug's sales success had been fuelled by the popularity of the 50cc Bug Super 9, the 125cc Bug Agility and 150cc Bug Espresso.
Bug has seven models in its current line-up ranging from 50cc to 250cc, and expects to announce a number of additional models in the months ahead. The first of these new releases will be the long awaited Xciting500, the new 500cc maxi Bug, which should be available in September.
"Bug Scooters is constantly reviewing its product mix to ensure that we cater for all prospective buyers in the scooter market. This means looking at everything from adding new models to adding complementary colours to existing line-ups, such as the Bug Orion which will now be available in classic silver as well as the always popular velvet red and midnight black.”
"We believe that by anticipating as much as meeting customer expectations, Bug will reinforce its popularity with the scooter buyer who wants style, reliability, value and overall peace of mind."
