Recently American Chopper toured Australia for a live event to an ecstatic band of followers that watch the series on the Discovery Channel.
After the live event Mikey and Vinnie trotted off to see some unique parts of Australia and while doing the rounds in Victoria they visited Vespa House to pick up a couple of Vespa’s to get around.
Vespa House, a landmark in the scooter history of Melbourne, was opened as a full time scooter workshop in 1956 by an immigrant from Northern Italy by the name of Vittorio (Tony) Tonon. It has passed through 3 generations with his son Frank and Frank’s son, Dean, continuing the tradition by running the workshop and showroom, respectively, to this day.
