Hi all,
I am new to the site and scootering. I recently purchased a Honda Forza which I am happy with so far. I am using it to commute about 60k's round trip from outer Melbourne to Inner City.
I have found this site and the internet generally, quite useful when I was trying to decide on what scooter (or motorcycle) to buy.
Does anyone else here have a Honda Forza?
I look forward to learning and reading as much as I can to make my new transport an enjoyable experience.
Cheers
Meldrew. |

Hi Meldrew,
There is an active scooter club in Melbourne that shares your passion, Melbourne Scooter Connection. There group website is http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/MelbourneSC . They have pub nights and monthly rides.
See you there,
Jason. |

| Hi Meldrew i also have a Honda Forza my only complaint is the two stage variator this is in my opinion a big mistake on behalf of honda, this has now been modified on mine and the performance is almost as fast as my foresight , THis also has weights and clutch springs changed so the 0 to 60 time is impressive ,A recent road trip of some 1400ks was great i have also cut 8inches off the screen this has eliminated the buffeting and is alot cooler in summer in BRISBANE as it was 30 degrees here last week , i have looked into engine mods but the money for such small gains dosent stack up, just ride it and ride a lot the more ks you put on it the more you will enjoy it. |
