Scooter News Gilera GP 800 With a 839 cc V Twin within the frame this Gilera may just be the fastest scooter ever produced.
Motociclismo.it From Italy the news that the GP 800 that we saw at last years Milan Motorcycle Show is alive and ready to launch. Powered by a 90 degree V Twin of 839 cc capacity the Gilera is said to be easily capable of speeds over 200 Kph.
The engine sits in a centralised frame and the final drive is chain just like that of a motorcycle. The screen on the front is adjustable and the front fairing gives you all that classic scooter protection we know and love.
The gallery of photos were posted on the Italian website of the magazine Motociclismo and these guys have been lucky enough to take the Gilera for a run around the Piaggio testing grounds.
Look out for an official release soon as it can’t be far off. Until then enjoy the pictures.
