Plentiful room for rider and passenger, great protection from the elements, terrific load capacity, ergonomics and maximum safety: everything on the Atlantic 300 has been created to offer greater comfort, while at the same time preserving the simplicity, ease of use and style that are unmistakably Aprilia.

The large and totally redesigned saddle boasts an ergonomic configuration with lumbar support that not only offers a high degree of comfort, but also - together with the footrest platform complete with new embossing and tapered where the legs go - makes it easy set the feet on the ground.
Up front the large leg shield and raised windshield offer exceptional protection, while in the rear the large luggage carrier, now painted elegant gloss black, incorporates the passenger grab handles and can easily accommodate a top box.

Storage capacity is an essential element when choosing a scooter, and the Atlantic 300 boasts the most room with its spacious covered and illuminated under-seat storage, equipped with a handy 12v power outlet for recharging a mobile phone or similar.

The Atlantic has another compartment behind its front leg shied: a glove box closed and protected with a lock. In addition to the capacity of the compartments already available, that of a 45 litre rear top box (offered optional) can be added. It is easy to install on the standard carrier.

The unrivalled quality to price ratio of the Atlantic 300 is seen not only in its excellent level of performance and finishes, but also in its top equipment. The Aprilia Atlantic in the new 300 version presents itself as a complete product of unquestionable quality, at an absolutely competitive price. The new surface treatments of the plastic panels, the new instrument panel and the modernised windshield stress the attention to detail paid to the customer of a considered, mature product that is the Atlantic 300.


The chassis of the Atlantic 300 makes good use of Aprilia's vast know-how that has made the motorbikes and scooters produced in Noale famous the world over. Frame and suspension have been designed to offer riding comfort, agility and safety. Distinguished by a closed cradle frame with a very sturdy structure and high quality suspension, the chassis of the new Atlantic is able to support the outstanding performance of the 300 engine problem-free. Its perfect weight distribution emphasises its good handling while maintaining excellent stability at high speeds.

The telescopic hydraulic fork with 35-mm-diameter stanchions ensures great riding precision and optimum shock absorption thanks to its 105 mm travel.
The engine-transmission unit also works as a swingarm and moves two gas shock absorbers. The possibility to adjust the spring preload on 5 positions makes it possible to get maximum shock absorbing effectiveness with all types of load or road surface. The rear suspension’s long travel (90 mm) ensures it acts to filter the roughness of suburban asphalt.

Also contributing to the excellent riding qualities of the Atlantic 300 are the 13 inch wheel rims shod with large tubeless tyres (110/90 in front and 130/70 in the rear), a choice that together with the frame provides great stability and intuitive riding, within everybody's reach.

Braking is without a doubt one of the strong points of the Atlantic 300. With the use of its integral braking system, braking is always powerful, safe and easy to manage on any type of road surface. The Atlantic 300 has two large diameter discs: 240 mm for the front, with floating calliper with three parallel pistons, and 190 mm for the rear.


The new engine mounted on the Atlantic 300 is universally renowned as one of the best scooter engines on the market. It is a single-cylinder 4 stroke engine with liquid cooling and single overhead camshaft and four valve timing. Starting with the already top-performing 250, the engine capacity has been increased to 278 cc by increasing both the bore and the stroke. With 22.4 HP on tap, it is one of the most powerful of its category, but it is above all the torque that is extremely favourable and that marks its quality. Its 23.8 Nm of maximum torque are obtained at an engine speed of just 5,750 rpm. On the road, these numbers translate into flexibility and pick-up from low speeds that are unequalled in this engine capacity category.

The engine is fed by an advanced electronic fuel injection system which, in addition to significantly reducing fuel consumption, also ensures optimised power delivery and, as a result, remarkable comfort and riding pleasure. The absolutely low consumption of the engine, combined with the large 17 litre tank capacity, give the Aprilia Atlantic 300 a particularly long range that makes stopping at the fuel pump less frequent.

To complete the wealth of standard equipment of the Aprilia Atlantic 300, Aprilia is offering a wide range of accessories: A high windshield with hand guard, a 50 litre tunnel bag, passenger backrest, the 47 litre Street Case painted to match the body, the 35 litre City top box painted to match the body with Atlantic personalisation, and optional backrest top boxes, scooter cover.
