Peugeot Tweet 50/125/150
Peugeot Tweet, the city has found its style.
The Italian market, the biggest in Europe, has its own specific character, with a marked preference for large-wheeled scooters. Already present on this market segment with Géopolis and LXR, two ranges that complement each other both in their size and in their engine capacities, Peugeot is expanding its product offer again, with the new TweetPeugeot, enjoying its world premiere at the Milan Show.
On this market, Peugeot is making an intelligent addition to its range with a compact large-wheeled scooter, 50 to 150 cm3, which now gives it a selection of 3 large-wheeled, 8-cylinder scooters, able to satisfy the needs of an eclectic clientele.
This new elegant, feminine model is aimed at a design-conscious clientele, looking for a vehicle that is status-enhancing, light, safe and easy to ride. And while we are talking design, one look is enough to realise that the new Tweet is a Peugeot: fine features, dynamic profile, the front of Tweet is not dissimilar to that of Vivacity, with an additional neo-retro touch suggested by the chrome of the radiator grill and the headlight.
Well balanced, very pleasant to ride, Tweet immediately sets its rider at ease with its sitting position, no more than 800 mm high. Its fine, streamlined seat makes it easy to put the feet on the ground and its light weight, easily controllable even by smaller riders, are all assets contribuing to a more serene, anxiety-free ride.
Despite its compactness, Tweet does not forget the practicalities and can easily hold a passenger, feet safely wedged on the aluminium fold-away footrests. Of a utilitarian nature, Tweet offers an optional range of stylish, functional accessories, including the vital windscreen and luggage-rack, so popular with the Italian market.
Style, agility, comfort and price are the main advantages of this new model designed to play a starring role in 2010.
