The sporty scooter of the Spanish Company Derbi is growing in power and size

Derbi Rambla is now equipped with a powerful 300ie engine and joins the already famous 125cc version as a more adult scooter for city travel.

Derbi Rambla embodies a modern and contemporary style together with the energy that has always distinguished the products of the motorsports vehicle manufacturer established in Barcelona in 1922. And all of the Rambla's exceptional features are now seen on the brand-new 300ie version.

Ever since it made its debut, Derbi Rambla has been a mixture of dynamism, technological innovation, a sporty nature and reliability.And today it is taking another step forward and adds the mighty and responsive 300ie version to the young 125cc variant in the series, combining riding enjoyment, performance and practicality for travel both in the city and outside of town.

Derbi Rambla is an authentic blend of aesthetics and technology. The combined work of engineers and designers has produced a vehicle that merges high levels of technology with a sophisticated design and outstanding sturdiness and safe use. An exemplary combination of the youthful and sporty spirit of Derbi and the engineering expertise of Piaggio engines.

Many features make the Derbi Rambla agile, safe and fun to ride: its sturdy high strength tubular steel frame guarantees ultimate stability;the large diameter aluminium wheels (15”) and wide tyres give it a sporty and ultramodern look. All of this translates into better performance and comfortable, easy and safer riding in traffic.

Derbi Rambla is the ideal scooter for urban and everyday use, for purely fun sprints and also for long journeys, above all now with the new 300ie engine that offers comfort and riding performance perfect for any distance.

Enormous attention has been paid to the functional aspects of the Derbi Rambla to make it a vehicle suited to everyone.
Its low, ergonomic saddle (775 mm) is comfortable for both rider and passenger: it is made of an anti-slip material and designed with a shape narrower in front to ensure stability when braking and when stationary at traffic lights. Its red stitching also makes it definitely appealing to the eye.
The front view features air intakes in a pure sports style and a double headlamp perfectly built into the sleek lines of the scooter.

The smoke grey windshield completes and defines the style of the front of the Derbi Rambla while at the same time optimising the air flow to improve aerodynamics.

A spacious under-seat storage area that can hold a jet helmet, a front glove-box and a bag hook positioned on the leg shield back plate provide amazing load capacity.

The LCD analogue-digital instrument panel gives the Derbi Rambla an even sportier and more modern appearance.

The optional accessories of the Derbi Rambla make this scooter even more functional and comfortable: The top box can be mounted on the standard luggage rack, already fitted with side grab handles for the passenger, and contributes to increasing the load capacity. The windshield, designed to ergonomically protect the rider, allows the scooter to be used even during the winter months.


Two models for all tastes and requirements

Designed for young city dwellers, the Derbi Rambla is bold like the variety of styles crowding our streets; it is flexible and sparkling like modern nightlife, but is also practical, comfortable and safe, perfect for winning everyday challenges in traffic.

The Derbi Rambla is offered in two engine capacities: the classic 125 and the brand-new electronically fuel injected 300 for meeting all city commuting requirements.

The Derbi Rambla 125cc has a single-cylinder liquid-cooled 4 stroke, 4 valve Euro 3 engine that delivers 11 kW (15 HP) of power. It is addressed to young riders and particularly suited to city mobility.

The brand-new and powerful 300ie version is particularly aimed at more adult riders. With its single-cylinder 4 stroke, 4 valve Euro 3 engine with electronic fuel injection and 16.5 kW (22.5 HP) of power with efficiency modified to cut down its consumption and emissions, Derbi Rambla offers greater range and is the perfect vehicle for also taking trips outside the city.

The new engine capacity lets the engine deliver performance at the top of its category, especially with regard to torque, the most important figure for city vehicles that have to endure continuous “stop and go”riding in urban traffic.

Derbi Rambla puts active safety at the top of the list. The disc brakes are generous in size: 260 mm in front and 220 mm on the rear wheel. Its large diameter wheels (15”) and suspension ensure this high degree of safety. Both versions - the 125cc and the new electronic fuel injection 300 - are equipped with a 35 mm hydraulic fork in front, whereas a dual hydraulic shock absorber works in the rear.
