A bit about the Garelli Company and its goals for 2010.
Garelli has come to the 2009 Eicma show with a complete range on the market for scooters with small to medium sized engines. It includes models of all types, from 50 to 150 cc.
The services advertised and the communication strategy have led to the steady increase in dealers from the 60 of 2008 to the current 200.
At the same time consensus from consumers has brought good results in terms of market share in the 50cc segment, which has seen Garelli rise from the 2.3% of 2008 to the 4% forecast for the end of 2009.
The 125 and 150cc engines, newly available, have produced the first market feedback which promises big things for 2010.
The free “Garelli Assistance” after-sales service is very popular and provides support for purchasers for three years with an all-inclusive labour and parts warranty in addition to three years of insurance for vehicle recovery.
The 2009 press and TV communication plan and the website www.garelli.it, with already thousands of visitors each day, have renewed awareness of the Garelli brand, on the occasion of its ninetieth anniversary.
2010 will see Garelli involved in implementing new projects, including the hybrid engine prototype exhibited at Eicma 2009 which represents specific commitment to a changing market for scooters.
