Daelim B-bone 125
Our introduction was short yet the impression remains, the B-bone is one top quality offering from Daelim. Now in dealers....
Introducing the Daelim B-bone 125
The Daelim B-Bone 125 is being released this week into dealers and we at Scootersales.com.au were the first to get a sneak peak.
The B-Bone 125 will retail for $3490 + ORC, an impressive value proposition given this quality effort by Daelim.
First noted when you climb on-board is the solidness. This scooter is no lightweight, the B-bone is a large weighty scooter that gives a 1st up quality impression.
Throw a leg over and you immediately notice one of the most comfortable seating positions in scootering today. Well padded seat, long and flat (no hump), the footpegs and handlebars in perfect position.
Power is plentiful courtesy of a 4 valve, 4 stroke engine that is shared with the S1 125. A very nice and smooth 8.5 Kw's of power, thanks can be given to fuel injection and oil cooling. Top speed should be just over the magic ton.
Brakes are disc front and rear. Actually the B-Bone uses a linked braking system, the left hand lever using part of the front and rear disc combined.
Use the floor area in front of you for storage, the trellis frame holds items like bags in place. A locking helmet hook is a nice feature at the rear.
Other features include top quality adjustable rear suspension, flip-out footpegs, a side stand standard.
Many will compare the Daelim to scooters like the Honda Zoomer, though the B-bone is no toy. My first impression is that the B-Bone will be around for years after your initial purchase decision. The B-bone reeks of quality and the weight stationary and on the road is testament to this, it feels unbreakable.
Yet the B-bone not only smacks of quality, it also smacks you in the face with the way it looks. Different is the describing word, though it still manages to exude sophistication.
All up a really nice top-notch effort. A scooter that you can park beside some of the best on the market and compare fit, finish and features. Believe me it's surprising just how good this scooter looks and feels in the flesh.
Daelim now have two solid offerings in the 125 segment. The daily commuter S1 125, a fully faired and optioned scooter retailing at $3290 + ORC. And the "Wow look at me now" B-bone 125 at just $3490 + ORC.
