SYM will release the Maxsym 400i early 2012. The Maxsym 400i will be the first larger capacity maxi scooter to land in Australia from SYM.
The Maxsym has some very handy features. Big storage, enough to swallow two full-face helmets, the seat also opens via the ignition. The Maxsym features a comfortable pillion position with added backrest.
Braking is performed by twin discs on the front, each 4-pot caliper is radially mounted, each disc is 275 mm in size. The front headlight comes inclusive of LED running lights. The rear taillight has its own unique "Matrix" style LED setup.
The motor itself is single cylinder, fuel injected, liquid cooled and 399 cc in capacity. The fuel tank holds a generous 14.7 litres. The wheel package is 15 inch on the front and 14 on the rear. Suspension is 5 way adjustable on the rear.
Retailing for around $7500 on the road, the SYM Maxsym 400i will deliver big "bang-for-buck" value. The SYM Maxsym 400i will also feature 10,000 km service intervals.
